Alternative to Acer OEM software that shows lock keys?

I have Acer Aspire E15. It has no lock status lights; only indication is on-screen overlay when changing lock state. For some reason, the app that shows the overlays also disables Numlock randomly without notice. The only workaround I found to work is to disable it, but then I'd have no overlay. So I'd need another app to show me the overlays. Any recommendations?
