@jaloopa uses Betteridge's law of headlines
It's super effective

The other interesting addition to Teamosa is the use of what the company refers to as “ultrasonic extraction” to increase antioxidant yield while brewing
Nice bullshit density there. Bound to pull in a few gullible idiots

There is one and ONLY one gadget that will actually help you brew better tea.
A thermometer.
Different teas brew at different temperatures. If you just dump 212f water on your green tea, you may ruin it. Try to brew earl grey at 150f, you get weak shit.
Use a thermy to get the water temperature right, and you get much, much, much better tea. It could be a stand-alone thermy, or my preference is an electric kettle that has a built-in thermometer. Bonus points if the kettle can be set to stop heating when it reaches a particular temp.

@polygeekery
Cordless? So it's wifi enabled?

@polygeekery IFTTT integration???

It’s also worth nothing that there’s a very similar product out there called the Teforia Leaf that more or less does the same thing as Teamosa. It also sells for the same price that Teamosa intends to retail for, $399, with the added bonus that it actually ships today — something that may be worth considering as a option before backing Teamosa.
So what makes this one special, if there's already an over-expensive unnecessary product with the same functionality (not to mention the non-"smart" products that achieve the same thing without
dunking your smartphone into the teausing your smartphone)?

No startup needed.
Yup. My FIL has that one. I use this one, which has a current-temperature display:

One of these days, someone will come up with a machine, that, they claim on Kickstarter, will be able to produce the widest possible range of drinks personally matched to the tastes and metabolism of whoever cares to use it, but when put to the test, however, will invariably produce a plastic cup filled with a liquid which is almost, but not quite, entirely unlike tea.

Meh...brewing tea just isn't worth it. It takes so long to cool it down before it's worth drinking.

I don't think it ever get cool enough to be worth drinking

Sure it will. Cut it 50% with lemonade and then mix in some vodka.
-
@polygeekery
So, The PolyPalmer is 50% lemonade, 49% vodka, and 1% tea?

My question is, will it increase caffeine yield while brewing?
