That's one thing we're just not very good at handling, unfortunately. It's a big workflow change, because we need to change the way we plan things. Whiteboards and in-person meetings let you share/plan a lot easier.
Alas. I have no great attachment to working remotely, I just can't afford to move too far yet. I do have three whiteboards behind my desk, though (it used to be a classroom). Thanks for responding!

Definitely in a manner that people are more comfortable and familiar with (and thus has at least the illusion of being easier). On the other hand, once one gets past a (steep, rocky, bumpy) transition there are also benefits to remote.
What I find interesting is to look at a team which has worked well remotely for a period of time, and then finds themselves in one room (say at a major corporate event) and how their meetings differ from others who have always worked in the same room),.
