Dutch website meldmisdaadanoniem.nl (translation: “reportcrimeanonymously.nl”) put tracking cookies from Twitter and Google’s DoubleClick on visitors’ computers without notifying them of this, according to RTL TV news.
De gegevens van het DoubleClick-cookie kunnen zelfs worden gekoppeld aan jouw Google-account, en daarmee jouw naam, adres en woonplaats.
Translation: “Information from the DoubleClick-cookie can even be linked to your Google-account, and through that with your name, address, and town.”
Yep, report crime anonymously.
Apparently the issue resulted from a YouTube video that was put onto the site, and the issue has now been resolved. But still …

Reminds me of StemWijzer (a kind of vote compass), which stored all preferences and advices, returned polling stats based on them and had Google Analytics events all over the place.
