Stupid things on Quora
I mean. #1 is a completely reasonable question. For the majority of the population "That particular shape of body makes me tingle in the no-no place" is a pretty good indicator of our sexual preferences and orientation. Because groping people is generally considered impolite at best, blind people are missing that particular cue. I'd actually like to see some Science™ on this.
#2 is pretty fucking dumb, though, and likely comes from conflating racism-as-action (stay away from black people!~!!~!) with racism-as-idea (people from my ethnic background are superior). The former has logistical problems for the blind, but the latter simply requires knowledge of what you are and some shitty ideas. If racism arose only from personal experience, being unable to identify other people's races would certainly be a hindrance to becoming a racist. But racism arises socially, too.
