Random CD purchases of bands I've never heard of

Today's purchase is
The Last StandbySabaton, Swedish heavy metal band and 'War Historians'. Swedes, metal and war. What could possibly go wrong.This is a two disc package containing their most recent CD and a live concert DVD filmed in France in 2016. All for only $12.99
The music is a bit cliche in places, but track 3 on the CD has bagpipes and a hint of accordion, so, there's that.
Initial impression, on a scale of 1 to 5, I give it a B minus.

@El_Heffe Where do you do those purchases? Just on Amazon or do you go to a record store and just pull out random CD's from those big boxes of "Various Artists we want to sell out"?
As for Sabaton, they are quite meh, my problem with them is that it sounds like dumb Nazischlager, but they don't actively glorify any of the wars they sing about. Just passively and by ommission, and just enaugh that I am never sure wether I can stand their lyrics as background noise or wether it bothers me. And that's speaking as someone that enjoys some of the metal with the most in your face brutality as subject.

There's a store in the mall near me called FYE that sells CDs and DVDs.
I hadn't been in there for a long time and they completely re-designed the store layout to more closely resemble a hoarder's basement, and made it considerably darker than I remember it.
I was browsing the heavy metal section and they had quite the Sabaton collection, who I had never heard of until now. So I figured, WTF, why not. Swedish, metal, war, a CD and DVD for a pretty decent price. All the things that make America great. Or something.

They're really big in Poland since they had a song or two about Polish history, so everyone was like OMG SOMEBODY NOTICED POLAND STRONK.

They show up sometimes in radio streams when you seed the radio with Alestorm, alongside Manowar, Hammerfall, Powerwolf. and all these other silly names.

@Magus I was listening to Helloween artist radio and had a Sabaton song come up this morning.
