What is a good replacement for Google Reader?
-
Since Google Reader died I didn't find any worth using yet.

I had a good one but I deleted it.

There are multiple decent RSS readers in the Windows App Store. On Linux, IDK. Doesn't Evolution support feeds as well?

I had been making do with the Bamboo RSS reader for a while, but it has limited browser support and is a pain to sync up between different devices.
Since those were the two main features that I liked about Google Reader in the first place, I sometimes wonder why I did that to myself.

feedly for me. web version works great, mobile app's solid, and it just works.
:-)

I second feedly

I don't care about it being actuially guaranteed as long as it's actually guaranteed.
Ok I'll stop derailing.

I use FeedDemon. It's no longer maintained, but it works...
-
I use Slick RSS, which is a chrome extension:

Netvibes is the closest thing I've found to Google Reader.
-
I've been using Feedly, but apparently I also signed up for "The Old Reader" around the same time (i.e. when Google Reader was shut down). I only know this because recently I got an email about their redesign, which I haven't yet checked out in detail.

I take my RSS fill in thunderbird.

The Old Reader has been working for me ever since Reader died. It's pretty close to what Reader was, even more so than what the screenshots from Netvibes website show it to be. (having tried Netvibes myself)
The redesign was AFAICT purely cosmetic, and frankly I could have done without it.
I don't know how well TOR handles on a phone.
I've heard Feedly being recommended many times before, though I've never tried it.
