Meanwhile I have an old Sega Genesis that has something funky with its power system where if you breathe on it the wrong way the system resets itself.

Yeah, but it's done that for forever. I remember it doing that back before the original Playstation came out when I retired it.
Then again, I also remember the stack of bullshit I routinely had on top of that thing too...(32X + Sonic & Knuckles + Sonic 3 = a console that I could whack my knees on at the time)

dunno, my 3dsXL is still going strong after being abused for several years.
i think it's more scuff than not at this point.
the buttons are... well they're squishier than i like but.... meh they're at least responsive.
dunno about the newer stuff, or maybe i just got lucky with my unit.

dunno, my 3dsXL is still going strong after being abused for several years.
I wish I knew where mine was. It wandered off a while back and fuck if I know where it went.
Might have to buy a new one at some point.

Never had one of those for the Genesis, but I still have my old NES one kicking around in a drawer. (No idea where that console is though, it's probably in a box in my parents' house somewhere)
