I really want to figure out if there's a use for the word jbojevysofkemsuzgugje'ake'eborkemfaipaltrusi'oke'ekemgubyseltru
Sorry, but due to the apostrophe's that's not a valid Chrome extensions id.

Like turning off Amazon, phoning home, and stupid backup in Ubuntu? and of course then setting up sane bash config (binding history-search-backward to arrows, adding shopt -s histappend, ...) getting rid of fucking GEdit (fuck that crap with its stupid search functionality, and constant crashes)
Ubuntu : Let's take Debian testing, bring some packages from unstable, apply some custom patches, then fuck with it until it becomes mainly crap. And Gnome 3 is not bad enough, let's build Unity !
File under: Since Linux is about choices, lets remove all of them from the installer

Nah, fuckit, too much work. Just snapshot Unstable. That'll do.

How could Unstable Debian be better than Fedora (not rawhide of course)? Want all the new and shiny, without having to build from source? Then Fedora is for you :--)

It might have been true a few years ago, no longer. Fedora Workstation (i.e. desktop edition) is very stable. Start from here to get Cinnamon.

Thanks but no. I have to deal with Yum on servers at work, don't want that crap on my desktop.

Thats like, at least 10 times worst than Yum !
At least Yum doesn't force-reboot your machine while you are using it.

Not that bad then

@TimeBandit I prefer apt over yum, myself. Just something about it...
