I have no idea if the PR had anything to do with this, but expanding the last reply on NodeBB Updates right now (the actual reply appears to have been the first use of the Popcorn button there) displays post #1 right after the actual reply. And then post #2. And then post #3. And then...

@error Unfortunately, if you scroll far enough, it just blanks the page. At least, it did for me, maybe I'll retry, see what it did.

Yeah, once I hit post #20 the page got blanked out, and hitting F5 put me at post #20 in the topic.

 Thanks cooties, for killing the upload, but not the draft. Couldn't access the site at all from home on Saturday until the evening, and now I'm getting it hanging repeatedly while at work.

My question is: How did you manage to set the post reference to an un-posted-post? Did you calculate that or something?

@Tsaukpaetra a combination of predicting the next unposted post number and manually running

$(window).trigger('action:composer.post.new', {
    tid: ajaxify.data.tid,
    pid: pid_in_reply_to, 
    topicName:ajaxify.data.titleRaw,
    text: 'asdfgh'
});

...to generate a post that thinks it's in response to post pid_in_reply_to, then hitting Submit before somebody else got the post ID I was expecting...
