Requires special kind of coffee, though.
Hm? I just grind it myself.
Nah, I don't mean grind type or whatever, I mean it should be more delicate, light roast.
I don't know where you are so I can't say about what you have locally, but some Whole Foods, Fresh Market, and (I think) Trader Joe's locations have a roaster on the premises, usually right in the store itself where you can request it to be roasted to preference.
Alternately, if you have between $50 and $3000 to spend, you can buy a roaster. Green coffee is a bit tricky to come by in most of the US, however, except by mail order; the places where you can get it are usually the ones that have Whole Foods etc. markets anyway. I don't about how things are in other countries.
If all else fails, most roasteries (and major brand names) have a light roast; Kona seems to be the most popular bean for that, so most Kona coffee (or coffee sold as Kona) would be suitable. Assuming you don't simply go ahead and use a darker roast anyway.

@ScholRLEA there's a few local roasteries here in Kraków and they do make awesome coffee. I tend to buy coffee from them and I'm rarely disappointed.

find a water dispenser supplier that will invoice it as 'bottled water' over several months. Head of department gets told not buy bottled water, by which time you have a dispenser!

I always make sure to buy printer ink from Islay. Only the best for my printer!
Nothing controls droplet size like that peaty Islay bog water.

I know someone who buys green beans, then roasts them in a air-pop popcorn maker.
Of course, he also blew the motor, almost started a fire, and is really bad with financial decisions, so factor that into your calculations.

Haven't read the comments.
That sucks.

Personal experience suggests that Jura and Orkney also have great properties that way.

I forgot what this thread was about when I came here and read this and wondered why someone would bother cooking green beans like that. As long as they come with those crunchy onions on top, I'm happy.

@Helix For stocking our break room, we have discovered that you can just roll that shit into your stationery order. Nobody looks at stationery orders.
This is what our typical every-couple-of-months supply drop looks like:
1 each of these:

10 of each of these:
Once you have that kind of bill racked up, you can easily start stashing say, pallets of bottled water, craploads of soda, or a water cooler with inbuilt filtration in it.
Although we did have a semi-reasonable start. When we moved offices we literally got HR to dictate to management that a refrigerator, basic water cooler and coffee machine were literal requirements for human habitation - so we ended up with a $300 Kenmore, a super-cheap water cooler and a $2000 Keurig (seriously. It's a cast-off from a customer lounge at another site - they bought it and then decided it didn't fit the eco-friendly image, so they socked it away in a closet). And if you don't have those, you can get coffee machines, water coolers and even refrigerators from Staples.

When I hit "air-pop popcorn maker" it triggered a page fault and loaded the original context.
