I'm pissed so I'm gonna annoy @blakeyrat

@Jaloopa How did that get 2 posts? You guys are quick
-
@Jaloopa sure, I see it there too, but I'm more surprised that I see it there than that I don't see it in
/recent
. And neither proves that he does or doesn't see it anywhere, either. Since there, he should see his actual topic greyed out, instead of seeing "This topic is deleted!".
-
@fbmac I can't get into it to see. A direct link would presumably give the same no permission message as when BLakey's topic was deleted
-
@anotherusername you could easily create a topic and delete it if you're such a skeptical.
-
@fbmac no, like I said, I'll just take your word for it.
-
@Arantor Not sure why you skipped the opportunity to link https://xkcd.com/1475/.
-
@pydsigner if I thought the situation were deserving of levity, I'd have put in a Futurama image. But it isn't. The situation, like its instigator, is only deserving of scorn. Possibly pity. Certainly not the sympathy offered.

Do you have a better idea to make @blakeyrat undelete that topic?
I can't undelete the topic.
THIRD FUCKING RULE: Wherever possible, within reason, a user should be able to undo an action. Even if only for a limited amount of time.
THIRD FUCKING RULE (Corollary One): ESPECIALLY a destructive action

Oh, and the next time you see a warning used instead of undo, send the designer of the application/website a nice e-mail suggesting that they implement an “undo” feature instead. Send them a link to this article.
I'm not sure if this guy is an idiot because he thinks the developer would care about such email, or because he thinks I'm willing to advertise his blog for free.

I thought he was a for telling us to spam developers.

Though actually, he's one of many authors on AListApart. Not "his blog" per se.

He's upset that I used a feature I have the permissions to use, after several people asked me to use it.
Remember how upset you got when you lost access to your posts in The Lounge? Are you so sociopathic that you cannot understand that other people might be annoyed to have their posts deleted?
