CSS is hard
-
So, there's this website that I frequent and they've recently changed their CSS.
These were big changes, so they say, but they were supposed to not affect the look&feel, since they were simply fixing the code, not redesigning.
But it did change...
Seriously though, the CSS has certainly changed and I'd gladly take the old one back:
ETA: I thought that details/summary tags worked here! I was conned!

@kt_ details/summary is browser dependant. Works in Safari and Chrome and, last I checked, nowhere else.
-
@Arantor Now it works. Hard refresh did it. (Latest Firefox.)
-
@kt_ We found that happened when the spoiler plugin was added to Discourse; Firefox is a bit funny about
<summary>
tags added to the DOM via JS

Show/Hide me
I added the shim for firefox [last Thursday](https://what.thedailywtf.com/topic/19448/details-summary-test-for-firefox)

Nice to see it doesn't support Mardown URLs...
-
@kt_ You think those changes are bad? I heard that webiste has a forum. You should check that out. It apparently changed at the same time the website did and has far more changes than just CSS ones.
Filed Under: You should totally make a Stylish sheet to bring the website back to it's former (former) glory!
Also Filed Under: You are clearly just afraid of change. How dare you!

I want the pre-discourse site back!
-
@aliceif Yeah, that's what the "(former)" was trying to reference :D
I wasn't sure how to make it subtle but still noticable.
So... We might be able to find the old style on archive.org and try to style the new site to look mostly like the old one...
Filed Under: Sounds like quite the project
