If that's actually accurate, this is probably a reportable bug, since it would be an easy way for spammers to bypass the anti-spam stuff...

@sloosecannon nope, the plugin also checks when editing.
If it would please the community, I could disable the Akismet part of the plugin, leaving the ProjectHoneyPot IP blacklist and the reCaptcha-for-registration enabled.

I got around the Akimset filter earlier by editing the URL in after posting.

@loopback0 by the way, from my reading of the plugin, it automatically submits posts that were marked as spam that were created by users with at least 10 reputation to Akismet as ham.
