The sender is use-the-contact-form@thedailywtf.com so I guess it came from here. Another clue is that the link took me to this site. I would post it but Akismet won't let me.

There was definitely no adfly links in my password reset email.

Just checked my email, it goes directly to this domain with no in-betweens.

...Ok, forget it. I think a better explanation is that the temporary mail site I used this time converts all links into adf.ly.
