What kind of Docker container reads thedailywtf.com? (with apologies to Playboy's circulatory dept. circa 1972)

I don't actually read any of the posts around here. Especially not the ones I reply to.
Remember, folks, everything @blakeyrat says is true.

If a single nutcase flags 57 of your posts, does that disqualify you?
Based on my understanding of the rules, no.
Or does it have to be 5 flags by 5 distinct users?
I think that's the "correct" interpretation.
Who wrote that bot? Oh. Right. Hm.
AIUI[1], the bot just checks a Discourse API for the trust query and then formats and displays the response. The data being all mingled like that is to be blamed on the discodevs.
[1] @accalia, @RaceProUK, @Onyx, or @Yamikuronue, please correct me if I'm wrong
-
then formats and displays the response
I'm sure that reordering the output (and maybe adding an up-to / at-least indicator) is not rocket science.
No I'm not going to touch any sockbot code, forget it.

indeed this is correct. and you can check the source yourself!
as you can see that module gets data from discourse then formats it and posts it.

Go to /t/1000.
Hit PgDn once a minute for a couple of hours.
Exit /t/1000.At least, that's what I did...
That doesn't really work as well for the last 100 days as it used to
-

...but then I'd have Node on me.

I didn't get it from ebaum's world; I swiped it from GIS and pasted it in here. So I guess I ripped some pageviews off from someone you hate; does that make you feel any better[1]?
[1] That was a rhetorical question; I assume there's not much that actually does.

Doesn't Discourse
steallocally cache all images, thus ripping pageviews off from EVERYONE?

by default, yes, in our instance no, we turned that discobool off
Paging @abarker for the relevant discopaedia link.

If I paste the image directly, though, it's not coming from ebaum's world any more.

It hasn't done that like in a SOLID YEAR, jesus, people, get with the program.

So wait, you're supposed to have flagged posts?
@aliceif said:maybe adding an up-to / at-least indicator
Did you people not notice that the flag ones have (max) next to them? It seemed pretty clear to me thatFlagged Posts: 0/5 (max)
meant "You have 0 flagged posts, of a maximum 5 allowed." Of course, there are probably clearer ways of expressing it.
Filed under: Negative of Flagged Posts: 0/-5
-
I'm guessing what that actually means is:
Have fewer than X flagged posts, or have been flagged by fewer than X different people.
Nope. You're missing the "accepted by a mod" part of the criteria. Simply being flagged isn't enough.
But I'm not even clear on that.
Exactly. In trying to simplify it, you've confused the issue.
If a single nutcase flags 57 of your posts, does that disqualify you? Or does it have to be 5 flags by 5 distinct users?)
Well, if you read the original, which you were dissing, and omitted information from, it's very clear:
> 5 different users

ah.... a staff member that actually does their job... so refreshing.

He was scarier we that skull avatar. I'm no afraid of no platypus
-
Yes, the fact that those measures aren't a good thing combined with (max) next to them is probably enough for someone who's not Blakeydrax to figure out that that's a count up to max/max allowed. But I'd agree that discourse(HAHAHAHAH)/SockBot could probably format them a little better...
-
You may want to check your cache expiration config. The expire time seems a tad... high...
