Frontpage numbers don't really match stuff

Dunno if this is the right category:
Frontpage tells me it gives me first 4 / "6" comments.
The Forum tells me there I read all 5 / "5" comments. That includes the @PaulaBean OP.
Even if there COULD be deleted posts, the frontpage number should be the Discourse number - 1.

There are generally 2 deleted comments: The marking unlisted and the marking listed. I also don't think this stuff is updated live. As I understand it, Paula periodically checks the topics and updates the preview page.
The numbers look correct now (previewing 6 of 7), though it appears that the OP is counted in the 7. That's my guess. But I'm not going to go grubbing in Paula's code repository to confirm.
