There is another colour change: selected options on polls are now a lighter green. That change is OK though, as it's now a lot more readable.

I couldn't quickly discosearch anything on fail.d. I assume it's just inertia in the anti-grey campaign.

Bikeshedding is an inherent good and needs no justification.

We have been complaining that we want Discourse to be more stable.... so that might have been Jeffs solution

Nah. They're really more about removing paint than putting more on.
