Ninjedits and image resizing
Continuing the discussion from Build Status: Sentient and Annoyed:
I swear this image loaded the size you specified, then went large and then went back to the specified size. @discoursebot
Yes yes, I'm a cyber-hedgehog, so I'm Doing It Wrong™. Still, it's a bug, and I'mma reportin' it.
Steps to reproduce:
- Make a post with an uploaded image but don't post it yet
- Change the
heightattributes of the image
- Submit the post
- Wait for your cyberparts to ninjedit the post (in my case, it's the MobileEmoji signing)
- Watch the image change size and become a lot bigger!!!111oneeleven
Weirdly, if you ninjedit manually, the issue doesn't occur; it's only when it's done 'behind the scenes' the issue rears its head.
I'm wondering of my cyber-ninjedit is getting mixed up with the rebake…<!-- Emoji'd by MobileEmoji 0.2.0-->
How about manually ninja-ing from a different browser window?
OK, turned off my cyber side…
Ninjedit in other window…
Nope, only happens when my cybers kick in.<!-- Emoji'd by MobileEmoji 0.2.0-->
New post to trigger the cybers…
Interesting… it didn't ninjedit the other post… oh well, not important.<!-- Emoji'd by MobileEmoji 0.2.0-->
So, the problem is only caused by cyberninjas?
Oh, OK, now my cybers have ninjedited it… and the bug happened again!<!-- Emoji'd by MobileEmoji 0.2.0-->

right. he's active on this forum too... Sorry for the accidental summoning!
RacePro, when your cyberpart doesn't find any emojis to replace, shouldn't it just do nothing, instead of a ninjaedit that only adds an html comment?
It does that so it doesn't process again.
Having said that, I can probably do something better…<!-- Emoji'd by MobileEmoji 0.2.1-->
…which I have now done; the emoji module no longer needs to sign every post
Cool, how are you tracking it now?
I'm not; now I only post an edit if there's an edit to make
