Topic: Accepting bribes to release the time (to the nearest Discominute)
Or maybe keep it to myself and go for INB4 Ultimate badger #2.

HAX!!
Body is now valid.

Oh wow.

Wait... that thing gets filled before the topic is actually closed?
TIL...
-
Well, yeah, how else would the display at the bottom automatically update as it got close to closing time?
-
Well, first of all, in the "topic" object, not in every post.
Second of all, I fully expected the same approximate time thing to be sent, since there's no way to see the exact timestamp anywhere on the rendered page.
Or, I dunno, a number 7. Packed in a string. Would fit with the theme.
Edit: Did you ninja that as I was typing? :frystare.emoji:

Well, first of all, in the "topic" object, not in every post.
It's actually in both.... seems like the posts fill it in from the topic object (
topic_auto_close_at
) which is then never read by the client. The actual display uses the one in the topic object.
-
Oh, it's just
auto_close
indetails
, nottopic_auto_close
. That... actually makes sense.I still fail to see the reason to include it in every freaking post. Other than some weird mandate from Department of redundancy department.

This topic is going to turn into Retardington Spamville in about 70 discohours...

i imagine that @PJH will simply say that this topic (like onepost) doesn't count
-
I already have an INB4 badge, so if I get one in this topic, it'll be because at most two people replied to this topic after this post.

Since he wants to test the automated version of the badgers I doubt it.
