When you shouldn't automate things

If you didn't hear about this, the New England Patriots celebrated getting 1 million twitter followers by shouting out the millionth follower, with a picture of a Pats jersey with that person's twitter handle on it.
Except they used a bot, apparently, and a human didn't vet the output. And so the Pats put up a tweet congrulating twitter handle IHATE[spoiler]NIG[/spoiler]GERSS. (Yes, it's exactly what you think.)

We understand. These things happen when you let an automated poster create posts for you.

An automated poster wouldn't have cleverly avoided using a dirty word[1] the way I did. Well, at least, not the kind that the Pats used.
