That's just kind of weird. Not really a NULL or NaN, more like "I'll get back to this later!"

Well? Did you go to exit 30? I've always wanted to know what a null message looked like in person.

I guess the lesson here is: come up with reasonable defaults. In this case "Traffic Incident" is a fuck of a lot better as a default than "(null message with location, etc.)"
