@PJH please css this
small { font-size: 10px; small { font-size: 8px; small { font-size: 6px; small { font-size: 4px; small { font-size: 2px; }}}}}
-
Won't that cause problems with formatting when you're applying small to differently sized elements, such as:
Title Subtitle
?

Before any changes:
After site-css change:

Subs also work! Well, until the Discodevs torpedo that option.
-
I think I've found another bug...
-
It's the same one that @VinDuv exploited, but downward instead of upward.
-
Oh yeah, didn't spot that one
-
I can still make text disappear! it just takes more effort now.

This post is deleted!

Are we going to be making an image-based quote pyramid?I hope not.

Are we going to be making an image-based quote pyramid?I hope not.
Seems to not work as perfectly as you might want to.
-
Haven't we done that already?
-
@aliceif, I enjoyed watching you live, trying to align the image.
You were close, the problem is icons on one's own posts are different from other people's posts, so it's hard to tell if it's working unless you have to windows open with different accounts.
@mott555 I don't know, if it's been done I didn't see it.
-
I think it was months ago, and it's surely buried somewhere by now.
-

GAH!totwo windows open with different accounts.

.... aaaand no one noticed.

I'd have noticed it if I had @Onyx's user scripts installed at work ...

I can too!Not really.

i never said how much more. :-P

Which is why I've wanted a way to strictly limit content to its logical CSS box and for DC to use that technique properly. Then while it might still be possible to hide stuff, it at least won't end up crapping over everything else: the crazy will be contained in its own padded cell.
-
strictly limit content to its logical CSS box
Actually, that is being done.
If you add enough <big>s, you see nothing!
Look at the raw: http://what.thedailywtf.com/raw/4661/24?u=aliceif
The box is just a little too big.
Well, until the Discodevs torpedo that option.
-
Actually, you're hitting the
div.cooked * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * { display: none; }
rule."Well, until the Discodevs torpedo that option. "
Though there still seems to be some strict bounding going on.
-
<big><big><big> "Well, until the Discodevs torpedo that option. :ship:"
There, saved the rest of you the trouble of checking the raw post.</big></big></big>Though there still seems to be some strict bounding going on.
Unless I'm lying, MUAHAHAHA! (I'm not)

Actually, you're hitting the div.cooked * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * { display: none; } rule.
"Well, until the Discodevs torpedo that option. "
I suggest
div.cooked * { display: none; }
. That would definitely be an improvement with regards to civilized discourse.

i know, i just was on my tablet and discourse was slow enough i wasn't going to search for the source of it.
