The Vanishing of Ethan Carter is a first-person story-driven mystery. Purchase this game to get both the original and the Unreal Engine 4 remaster called The Vanishing of Ethan Carter Redux.
I'm really, really interested in this game, and it's on same right now, but it's only a couple bucks off... at $10 I'd jump on it, but at $18 I'm not sure.
Is it worth $18?

Hmm... first person adventure... Looks interesting. But not worth over $5 for me.

Well I loved the Amnesia games (yes, even Machine for Pigs), Dear Esther, and Gone Home, and this game is in the same vein.
But I don't know a single person who's played it.
