oooooh. I'll share mine if you'll share yours?
-
You can keep your popcorn, I have tea, and crumpets and scones and there's enough for everyone because British.
-
that depends on what kind of tea you drink.
unless it's
Tea, Earl Grey, hot
orTea, China Black, hot
then you can keep your tea for yourself! (lemon optional, but for the goddess's sake put it on the side so i can choose (i usually do choose but not always))
that being said, could you possibly spare a cuppa?
-
I drink Earl Grey on occasion, but generally Assam.
-
we shall have to try that variety. we think we shall like it if wookiepedia is to be believed.
-
There's a reason most of the 'domestic blends' in the UK are primarily based on Assam, only most people have no idea this is the case.

we shall be traveling to our local loose leaf tea emporium today to aquire some of this glorious tea then.

The way that you guys are off-topic ironically actually makes you on-topic.

Who's this "we", you fat, cigar smoking, port-swilling cunt?[edit - forgot to change the name]
-
We're all Britons and I am your king!
(Since King Arthur wasn't fat, cigar-smoking or port-swilling)

We thank you most profusely for your compliment and shall strive our utmost to remain worthy of it.
-
Worthy be damned. I just want to post my shit.

Well I didn't vote for you.
-
Of course not, you don't vote for kings.
-
Actually, we cast some rather emphatic no votes.
-

we don't believe we were talking about you in our post.

I don't recall that you actually voted on it. Mind you, we were a bit shitty to you at the time.
-
we don't believe we were talking about you in our post.
I know you weren't. I was merely asserting my right to talk bollocks if I so desire, whether or not it is on topic or not and without consideration for worthiness.

we judge that comment to be fair and reasonable, given the circumstances.
well played.

In 1649, Charles 1 received a rather more emphatic "no" than you lot managed..
-
True, though our votes stood the test of time better. Had George III been closer at hand, I'm sure there were plenty willing to cast a similar sort of vote.
-
And then we asked for his son to come in 11 years later.
-
our votes stood the test of time better
On the face of it, yeah. Same goes for the French, really.
-
@boomzilla, stop trying to be reasonable
-
If I appear unreasonable it's because other people are being stupid.
-
This seems to happen a lot to you.
-
Especially when I hang out here.
-
I know. I try so hard to live up to your expectations.

Wikiquote seems to have left out some of the funnier but politically incorrect bits.

So, Assam then.

Yes, yes it did. Which is a shame because I don't really see that the film needed that kind of censorship personally. Life of Brian tends to get even worse savagery however.

It didn't, but wiki* has been taken over by humorless politically correct Social Justice Warriors.
-
Wasn't Wiki** always overrun with such people?
-
Perhaps not at the very beginning.
-
I don't remember a time when it wasn't full of SJWs with a smattering of pedantic dickweeds.

meticulously tedious
FTFYlacunaeminutiae.
...
I was looking for a noun with the connotation "small".

-
Some of us already know that.
Yes, I am aware of this fact. Hence 'you all' to indicate the rest
-

Or an actual, real, person...
In 1649, Charles 1 received a rather more emphatic "no" than you lot managed..
Hopes that this fate may befall Charles III would appear to be rather too optimistic at this time...

I saw @sam talking about adding the ability to sort on likes on OPs. This was in a discussion about how to use discourse as an issue tracker.
EDIT: if only I'd start adding INB4 to my posts, I'd have lots of badges.
-
That's 85 fewer than expected.
