I know it's unusual but just hang on a minute!
OK, so we have CodeSOD. And it says to anonymise the entries. What if the entries are in a publicly visible repository of an open source package?
Do we still have to anonymise them or can/should we name and shame?

It's really up to you. The anonymization thing is just there to prevent people from being fired for pointing out WTFs.

Seems fair enough. It just seemed like a hard and fast rule that didn't necessarily apply in this edge case.
Now I just need to decide whether I've had enough alcohol to name and shame them or whether I wait and see if they get their act together after pointing it out to the project manager that the lead developer doesn't even test his commits.

If the source in question is public anyway, there's little point in obfuscating it.
