Disabled BACK button in IE9
-
Is there a thread to report odd behavior? Or are we opening a new thread/topic for each bug we find?
Because while my Chrome (v.35) browser allows me to click the BACK button to return to the previous thread, my IE's (v.9) BACK button stays greyed out and disabled. (I know IE is TRWTF, but that's another discussion.)

This. You may want to move this topic over to Bugs.

I seem to remember the devs saying that IE9 is just barely supported and you should upgrade (or use something that is not IE :D) Don't hold your breath on them fixing any IE9 issue that is not critical, though.

I believe you're referring to this post possibly?
Also, while searching for you (because I'm just a nice guy), nice to know Jeff doesn't read and closes a thread about an IE issue that affects every version of IE on Windows Vista/7 as an "IE9 peculiarity" because of a link that points out the issue starting in IE9.

Use IE11. everything work smoothly for me.

Yes, IE9 does not support changing the URL via JavaScript, so you are always on the same "page". That is our absolute minimum browser. Everything works fine in IE10 or newer.

Yay. Some things break on IE10 or higher, this site breaks on IE9. Ty Microsoft for such a dysfunctional browser. If certain sites didn't use ActiveX still (I'm talking to you, my credit union!), I'd abandon IE altogether.
Oh, tried to move to Bugs as suggested - now it's in Meta AND Bugs. Can remove Bugs, can't remove Meta. Dare I say WTF? ^^ Or did I miss the point somewhere? O-O
-
Bugs is a subcategory of meta, so that is correct.

Ah, thank you. Saw that mentioned in another thread too. Trying to keep up...
