Linebreaks breaking blockquotes
Continuing the discussion from How far is it appropriate to go in describing a WTF?:
Filed under: two line breaks will end a blockquote, seriously??
It appears one linebreak is sufficient to break the blockquote:

One linebreak: Two linebreaks:
<end of blockquote is here.
One linebreak:<end of blockquote is here.
Your one linebreak example is actually two linebreaks though.
Ah - true - I was counting blank lines...
I should have filed this bug myself. Thank you for your good work PJH.
I said two lines break because I counted the one at the end of the first line.
Worded differently, it's an empty line that breaks the quote.
In fact I just made a quick test and this works:

a b

a bSo yeah, I think the problem is the empty line. It introduces a new paragraph, outside the blockquote.
>Start >One linebreak >Two linebreaks >Three linebreaks >Four linebreaks
This is now fixed in master and should be deployed soon
