If I translate "This is a red ball", it is translated (correctly) as "Dies ist eine rote Kugel". When then changing "ball" by "balloon", it becomes "Dies ist eine rote Ballon" (wrong). If I then rate it as bad and suggest "Dies ist ein roter Ballon", it thanks me for the suggestion and shows the correct translation. But when I then (in the same window) change it back to "ball", it translates incorrectly as "Dies ist ein roter Kugel".
Come on, Google (or Kugel?), you should have learnt by now that there are languages that attach genders to their nouns, and that "die Kugel" and "der Ballon" do not have the same one...

You realize those corrections aren't processed in real-time, right? It could be days or weeks (or, knowing Google, never) before your correction is incorporated.

Yes, I do. But I find it amusing that it actually had an effect on my current browser session, only that it made a previously correct translation incorrect.
Now when I re-open Google Translate, it translates everything as it did before my suggestion (which is what I would have expected).
