Jeffing to a new thread breaks quote unrolling

Quotes are implemented via a topic id/post-in-topic id pair, so Jeffing the whole conversation makes the links point to the OT - which either crashes quote unrolling, or unrolls the post in the OT which happens to now be in the same place.
Urk. Would it hurt to have unique post IDs? Oh wait, they do. Then why do they use a mutable value as a link?
