Comment topics for front-page announcements?
-
The Announcements on the front page have links to the intermediate comment page, but there are no topics for them here, and so no comments can be made. We should either make working topics for them, or remove the useless "0 comments" links...
-
Were these "articles" not supposed to have comments, or were they supposed to have comments but @PaulaBean was asleep again?
-
not sure.... @mark_bowytz what say you on this one?
what about @apapadimoulis
-
As far as I'm aware, all articles should have Article topics; I guess @PaulaBean's messed up somewhere. Wouldn;t be the first time…
Actually, the topics may still be unlisted; perhaps a TL4 can check?
-
Dunno, but they are in the "Announcements" category instead of Articles. I think they should have comments...
-
hmmmm don't recall notifications for either of those... and i know the magick of getting the notifications for unlisted topics....
-
As do I, now that you told me; I got no notifications, but then they may have been created already. I do know though that there have been a couple of 'phantom new' topics today…

Announcements are Articles
Yeah, I see that now. And some Announcements do have comment topics, some don't:

The Tokyo meetup seems to have a topic: http://what.thedailywtf.com/t/another-tokyo-meet-up-sakura-edition/47391.
The survey doesn't.
