I know you told me to ignore this file...

... but I'll still open it and try to crash something before actually ignoring it.

In Bittorrent Sync you have a .SyncIgnore file to tell BTSync what files to ignore (duh).
So somebody had the good idea to put MS Office temp files (~*.tmp) into that file, because you would never want to sync those. Fine so far.But even so you can generate a race condition where Office spews an error message when trying to save a file and BTSync is running. Why? Because Office releases the lock on that file temporarily and BTSync opens it. Then Office tries to reacquire the lock (probably so it can rename it to its proper name) and fails.
Yes, BTSync continually tries to open a file it was explicitly told to ignore.Money quote:
While you can't prevent Sync from opening the file (it happens before the ignore list is checked)
WTF?

clue bat time!

Dear BitTorrent Sync,
Sincerely, Chef Ramsay.
-
well merde, that domain is blocked by our firewall...
-
It's not blocked for me, but I see a broken image in the post.
-
-
Bleah, probably blocks hotlinking, cause it was working for me before... but when I left the thread and came back it's broken.
I'll probably fix it in a few minutes, but a lot of image hosting sites are blocked by work firewall here.

Hmm, Discourse keeps trying to do an image tag of the location when I do that and choose Copy Image (not Copy Image Location). Can't tell if it's Discourse or FireFox doing it.

That's impressively stupid.

i blame FF. Chrome FTW

Meh, I just put it on my own domain.

tight click
I know how to left-, middle-, and right-click, but tight-clicking is a new one on me
Does that mean there's also a loose-click?And someone add  to the list of emoji, or I'll break the Universe. Or something.
-
Does that mean there's also a loose-click?
only when @algorythmics has been around.
wait no, that's a sticky click.....

actually it's entirely dependent on how long it is since I left. If I was there in the last few minutes, its sticky and loose. After there has been time to recover and clean up, it's just loose.
