Horizontal rule style has changed
-
Hey guys (I'm guessing @PJH) ,
The horizontal rule style has changed and doesn't look right when we do a filed under.
Is this intentional or is it a side effect of some other css jiggery pokery?
It's no big deal if you want to leave it as is, I just thought I'd let you know.
Filed under: it looks like this, mind the gap
-
Ooh... It has an inset bevel too. Soooo 90's.
-
this is a big deal, and should be resolved.
Filed Under: if we keep filing under these lopsided posts this topic might topple over!
-
It appears to be the
width: 85%
rule that's borking it.
-
Yeah, I think I'd be fine with this if it had 100% width.

it's the right width now (obv), although I still kinda feel like I would prefer them to have the same style as the rest of the horizontal rules on the page.
-
There are no other horizontal rules. The lines separating posts, for example, are (multiple) borders.
-
They may not be <hr> tags, but they're horizontal rules.

agreed, whatever they ostensibly are, these:
used to look exactly like the lines between posts, they no longer do.
I preferred when they looked the same, it felt more consistent.
maybe that's why it changed though.

I find the way things change right before my eyes on this forum disturbing.

It changed because @blakeyrat has a deficient monitor or eyes. It's difficult to tell, really.

Was this reverted, or is there something in my cache that I should avoid refreshing at all costs?

Sorry, I didn't take a screencap for posterity.
Here's the gist of what it looked like.
-
So is this a bug or no?
-
I'm pretty sure this was just @PJH experimenting with CSS.

Sorry mate, I feel bad for complaining when you've been making tweaks.
You've done a great job in making this place feel more like home.
