Poll: Should Sam create the suggested badges?

Continuing the discussion from Bug category background is a barrier to reading:
My finger is itching to create the @codinghorror badge and assign it to @Nagesh which would be my first official transgression as a mod.
Do it man, but while you're at it, could you please create the @nagesh badge and assign it to @codinghorror?
Also, @mikeTheLiar has been waiting a long time for his Worst of the Worst badge.
@sam seems reticent to create the badges because it might be seen as an abuse of mod powers, so lets get some community approval.

I've been trying to figure out if there's any way of having badges automatically assigned (other than the defaults) but there doesn't seem to be.
Which means any that are created have to be manually assigned.
Sounds like too much work to me....

Maybe you need another mod who has too much time on his hands. If you pick @ben_lubar then he won't have as much time to write Go code.

fyi, I added a new concept called listable vs non listable badges.
non-listable ones are hidden from the
/badgespage.

Talking of lists, are the any plans to group the gold/silver/bronze together where they make sense? Or at all.
E.g. at present the list looks like:
It'd be nice if, for example,
[Great|Good|Nice] postcould be grouped together, possibly in that order (or reverse order, or whatever.)IoWs - that list is going to get very messy once you start adding more groups of badges.
Maybe group first by icon? Then order by (close) creation date. Then order by G/S/B.
Of course this presumes that (in order)
- similar badges share the same icon, and the same icon isn't used for sets of badges created close to each other
- the 3 badges were created around the same time
- they're actually related
A quick hack may be an additional field of 'group name' or 'group id' - would allow more than 3 badges per group. Less quick would be a subsequent additional field of 'group order number' to override any default behaviour of GSB/BSG ordering..

It seems appropriate, given that @Blakeyrat granted him the status, and @Blakeyrat hates Linux with the fury of a thousand burning suns.
There is, however, a git icon, which might be even better.
