Entire forum is suddenly bold?!

Observed on Google Chrome Version 53.0.2785.101 m (64-bit)
No other websites affected.
does not affect Microsoft Edge, effect is observed on chrome after hard refresh, and in incognito mode when not logged in and with all extensions disabled.
so uh..... what the fuck?

@accalia that doesn't look like bold to me. It looks like maybe it re-rendered the text on top of itself without erasing it first, which resulted in the anti-aliasing getting darker than it should be.

That's because this is WEB 3.0, where everything requires a multi-hundred KB server-round trip-- including client-side actions!

@Lorne-Kates also holy shit, so I just took a look at the phpbb support forums, and whodathunkit when I hit next page my phone's browser doesn't freeze. I think they must be using asm.js for high performance
