Problem report:
Video does not work in Skype.
Diagnosis steps:
Requested user attempt test call to me while I was on-site. No, you do not have to wait until I go back home—I have my laptop right here. Yes, that should work.
Resolution:
Don't use the XP desktop with the 3.5 inch floppy to make Skype calls. Use the Windows 10 laptop with the 17GB SSD.

How the fuck did you fit windows 10 on a 17GB SSD? My windows folder is bigger than that, compressed.

Foolery! Everyone knows Windows requires at least 16 GB just to install! Skype probably won't even fit!

Only software installed beyond what comes with Windows 10 is Google Chrome.

You can clean up a bunch of that crap with "Disk Cleanup" (do the system cleanup)

Not so much in Windows 7, or they haven't installed the update that allows disk cleanup to trash old updates.

Problem report:
Printer is not visible on wifi.
Diagnosis steps:
Recalled wifi was upgraded from WEP to WPA2-PSK since last site visit. Used front panel to print configuration page. Noticed printer was configured to use WEP.
Resolution:
Hunted down driver CD. Used configuration program on USB-attached desktop to configure printer to use WPA2-PSK.
Customer survey comments:
"Thank you for doing that. I probably would have gotten around to it sometime next year."

Problem report: Unable to apply windows update due to lack of disk space. Instructions on how to update using external drive unclear:
Diagnosis steps:
Attempted update and selected "Choose another drive or attach an external drive with 1.0 GB available". Got message stating more space needed on C: drive:
Clicked through to Disk Cleanup:
Removed 5 files from downloads. After "deleting" the "Previous version of Windows" the 1.11 GB came back.
Reported there was no way I was going to be able to delete 4.67 GB from apps.
Customer survey comments:
"Thanks for giving it the old college try."
