How to rewind a video clip
-
Here's one tough question from Yahoo Answers:
Is there Any Online Program to Rewind a Video Clip?
Windows Movie Maker seemingly can't do it.

To be fair, probably a poorly worded question rather than a true WTF.
What the asker probably wants is reverse a video clip so that everything flows in reverse.
With that said THIS is a goodie from Yahoo Answers: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080814035543AAwApRS

Not tech related, but this one's pretty amazing: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080312093451AA0XK8B

No need to rewind. Just search for the frame you want and JAM IT.

Oh, brillant. That's comedy gold.
I like that the "Best Answer - Chosen by Asker" is:
Please, for humanity's sake, abort this baby! If he's even only half as stupid as you are, he doesn't stand a chance!

Reminds me of one where someone asked literally "how to install a card for videogame in a 1.0 Gb CPU of 128Mb to play fifa06" there. (Believe me, even before translation it sounded grammatically weird.)To be fair, probably a poorly worded question rather than a true WTF.
In the same league you could find someone who managed to ask how to disable a "fireware" (and he also misspelled the Spanish "translation" for firewall), which led to some priceless answers like telling him how to trash the Firewire port, or plugging it into an etherkiller.

I frequently browse Yahoo Answers for pure comedy value
I bet there are at least 3 or 4 DailyWTF-worthy questions & answers in the Design and Programming category right now...

Ho. My. God.
Just looking at the headers makes my head spin.

SpectateSwampDesktopSearch can do this for you. Or you could use a camcorder, video your screen going forward, then rewind the camcorder tape.

Why Rewind at all? Just film in reverse. Random is the Key. I never shoot something I don't want.
"Video Experts" want you To Believe that that this is Impossible. They don't want you to know their secret.

Jeez. And I thought this meme was long forgotten!
