Think your so smart?

  • Showing off with all your programming languages, but do you know how to use an apparatus for obtaining the cubature of trees?

  • PROTIP: "Your" is second person possessive, as in "I'm going to stab you in your eye if you don't learn basic grammar rules," while "you're" is a contraction of "you are", as in "You're dangerously close to a grammar-related stabbing."

  •  That is my one and only consistent grammar typo. Apparently I can't edit it and correct it, so thanks for nothing.

Well, the fact that you're willing to admit it is a point in your favor. Now, as to your original post, I fail to see what you're trying to point out here. The URL in your post takes us to a page about an fairly interesting device designed to give the volume of a tree. Perhaps you're hoping we find the word "cubature" as amusing as you do, but it's a real -- if perhaps uncommon -- word. I don't know whether it is used frequently in logging still, or if it was just more common 110 years ago. It's good that you didn't post this to the Side Bar, because then I'd have to tell you to enjoy your mug.

I think you already made you're point; now your just being annoying.

  • I think the concept your mystified by is irony. It's pretty safe to say that irony is greater sign of intelligence than grammar, which is the province of superficial anal types and microsoft word algorithms. Your not really as clever as you fancy you'reself, since you immediately jumped on something tedious like grammar, and not the more sophisticated (and silly) irony of the aparatus to measure the cubature of trees.
