The Side Bar carries the following tag line: "Because more things make us ask WTF than just code". Therefore, it's evident that you don't understand the phrase "WTF". Clearly you think it means "wow, that's funny!" Even if this were the case, you have a very loose definition of "funny"; this is more along the lines of WTMA ("well that's mildly amusing").
But this not even close to what "WTF" means. It means "what the fuck", as in "what the fuck is this shit?" or "what the fuck was this guy thinking when he posted this?"

An actual sidebar WTF should contain a WTF, not a fictional story about a WTF.
