Actually the title doesn't even fully apply just when browsing on iOS; I cannot assume the tab's title is what the tab actually contains. I assume this is related in the tangle of code that is NodeBB.

@aliceif Is that an IRC log? If so, what network/channel?

#thedailywtf on freenode.net

@aliceif to be fair, they probably missed that because it's only visible on WTDWTF.
I'll file a ticket.

@aliceif This is from the same software that forgot it had two "Submit" buttons on the composer, and routed CTRL-ENTER to the wrong one.
Are you surprised AT ALL that they fucked up handling two different titles?

I'm pretty sure the third party that made the shortcuts plugin isn't the same as the first party that made nodebb-theme-persona.

Ben L: all we see is the shitty broken ass bugs. We don't know what's in a plug in and what's not.
Here's a thought: if a plug in is full of shitty bugs, maybe don't install it here? There's enough bugs in the core product to go around.

And yet the first party created the bug and fixed the bug.

The first party called the third party into the ticket so they could fix the bug you reported in the wrong place.

Then the third party is effectively the first party. And there's no such thing as reporting in "the wrong place". If there's a bug with the forum, I'll report it to the forum software's bug tracker. If the bug tracker owner things it belongs somewhere else, they can refile the bug with the plugin maker, and let the fix cascade down.

@Lorne-Kates what-bugs exists specifically for that reason. I know which plugins are installed, and I know what they do.

what-bugs is for bugs with tdwtf.
nodebb bugs is for bugs with nodebb.
If I file things on what-bugs, if they're for nodebb, the bug gets closed and I lose all viability of it.
Therefore if I suspect it's a bug with nodebb, I'll file on nodebb's bugtracker.

Thanks, @barisusakli!

And it works great until the bug is something Ben L doesn't personally agree with, at which point he ignores it entirely.
