WrongDocumentError when clicking Reply

So I tried clicking the reply button (twice), and of course it didn't work because it constantly does that. But this time I happened to have the console open, and happened to notice that the failure was actually due to a script error. It looks like either
document.importNode
ordocument.adoptNode
needs to be used at some point, but isn't...Then a new post streamed in, I clicked reply again and it worked (without another error). Go figure.

Awe Fsck, wouldn't you know it, I clicked Upvote and Error Invalid Data. So here's a text version:

@Tsaukpaetra different error, anyway. The one I screenshot happened when I clicked reply and it didn't produce a toaster... just an error message in the browser's console.

Yeah, I've been having more and more errors with the forum in Chrome. When loading the page for the first time, I got this:
Clicking any reply button gives this error:
It is sometimes fixed for me by a hard refresh, but not always. I've found the forum more reliable on (shudder) IE, but this is starting to become unusable.

@abarker I wonder if it all stems from this error that I got when doing a fresh load of the home page:

Maybe we could help if you there was a switch to stop using the min-ified js files to get actual info on what's going on?

Stop using the minified js?

@Tsaukpaetra Maybe you should just get faster internet. Because race conditions wouldn't be a problem if all the files downloaded. It's your fault the forum isn't working for you.

faster internetsynchronous loading. Because race conditions wouldn't be a problem if all the files downloaded before trying to reference them. It's your fault the forum isn't working for you.FTFY. My internet's plenti-fast.

Okay, look, we've both proposed solutions. One of them requires a group of developers understand the tools they work with, consider both real-world uses and BASIC race-condition prevention and, let's face it, cause them a LOT of work.
The other lets them blame you and gives them plenty of time to bikeshed the height of the Unread flag.
Which do you think is going to happen?

@Tsaukpaetra I think Lorne was channelling just then.

???
TIL there's apparently some movie titled "Do the right thing". It probably has nothing in common with what I think it's about.
