Original span tags copied from the email. So maybe I won't be able to regale the public with the glory of the original red text.

Actually obeying the tenets of the OP:
From: {Security Engineer | Infrastructure}
Subject: Java and .NET Framework Minimum Version DependencyTeam,
Please feel free to forward this message on as needed.
Our vulnerability management program has identified several key pieces of software in the [COMPANY] environment that are out-of-date and contain significant numbers of security vulnerabilities.
Specifically, JAVA and .NET Framework across the environment are running unsupported, end-of-life versions.
• Java version 1.5, 1.6, 1.7, and 1.8 are present. Only Java 1.8 is currently supported by Oracle.
• .NET Framework versions 1.1.4322, 4, 4.5 and 4.5.1 are present. Only versions 4.5.2 and 4.6.1 or greater are supported by Microsoft.The Security Engineering team will need your help to identify the minimum .NET Framework and Java version dependency of your application(s), along with the DNS name of the server(s).
The minimum version applies to the server and the client PC running your application.It is important to be current and up-to-date with our applications. We need to move to the currently supported version to remove vulnerabilities from our environment.
Please review the attached spreadsheet and provide the minimum versions. We will need a response by Friday, 06/17/2016. You may forward the attachment to SecurityEngineering@[COMPANY].com.
Thank you all in advance,

Please review the attached Security Bulletin and action accordingly.
Any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to get in touch.Regards

In which our 'security officer' ()
- explains phishing to apparent 6 year olds,
- tries to hoodwink employees into clicking a spammy link in his presentation
- gets rather upset because
- some of us saw through it
- couldn't open it anyway and
- forced him to offer up a crippled version that didn't offer the opportunity to get caught
Rest of the story in the lounge for usual raisins.

Is that the presentation you found on his USB drive, and modified the spammy link, so instead of going to "ha ha harmless fun u got caught" webpage, it goes to a picture of Goatse with the CEO's face pasted in the butthole?

Nah - it's the one he emailed everyone to apparently get them into the habit () of opening attachments with 'unusual' extensions.
-
@PJH And for those among us who once had access to the Lounge, but for some reason don't have anymore?

-> Trust_level_3 -> Join Group.
It's actually a request to join, but most clicking that will get accepted.
