Exemptions caught in the Act

  • There is a fair bit of information that Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs has withheld:

but the juiciest page of secret gossip has to be:

National Insurance Numbers (NINOs): Format and Security: What to do if you suspect or discover fraud

So what do you do if you suspect fraud?

If you have specific evidence of fraud, then (This text has been withheld because of exemptions in the Freedom of Information Act 2000),

but if you are just uncertain and want to find out more, you can (This text has been withheld because of exemptions in the Freedom of Information Act 2000).

Have a nice (This text has been withheld because of exemptions in the Freedom of Information Act 2000).

  • I love the two nested bullet points in the list on that page that are (like all the other items in the list) withheld because of exemptions.

  • They should have printed it out, put it on a wooden (This text has been withheld because of exemptions in the Freedom of Information Act 2000), then cancelled out the (This text has been withheld because of exemptions in the Freedom of Information Act 2000) and then  (This text has been withheld because of exemptions in the Freedom of Information Act 2000) with a digital (This text has been withheld because of exemptions in the Freedom of Information Act 2000)

  • The two bullet points directly answered all my questions. I don't see what the problem is.

The problem is just that (This text has been withheld because of exemptions in the Freedom of Information Act 2000).

    Why settle for bullet points?

Ooo! Has anyone found pages with graphs? (I'm thinking of the figures in the famous response to certain scientific conference's spam (PDF).)

  • Turns out they're using the same obfuscation techniques that Experts Exchange use.  Simply turn off javascript and the text becomes unblocked!  (I'm kidding obviously, but after reading TDWTF for a while, I wouldn't put it past them)

Nice! I wish I'd found that one.

This lacks a table of contents. Really, such things make documents far easier to read.
