Went to an older topic. Noticed a few typos on one of my posts. Would love to fix them-- and hey, look at that. I can click ... and "Edit this post".
Pops up the editor. Lets me work on fixing all those typos. And I hit submit and...

GOD FUCK YOU! You fucking douche-nuzzling asstards. If I don't have permission to perform an action, then don't show me the UI to get to that action. And if you do show it, grey it out and disable it. And if you don't disable it, show the error upon triggering the action.
Don't show the goddamn edit box and even let me edit and then, only when trying to submit, go ahhahah nope @julianlam
