Published "unsubscribed" list

I was doing a search for something, and this was one of the top results. It's a 2.3MB plain-text file of e-mail addresses.

I'm not converting to a link because I don't want to give them more Google juice than they already have. The list originates here:

Way to go, PrimeQ!

See, it's helpful because they're letting other spammers know who's opted out as well. And we all know spammers are very reputable businessmen who would never do anything immoral.

What the FUCK! They must be thinking: "If they don't want our spam, let's make sure they get so much crap in their inbox that it's unusable for anyone!"
I was hoping that it would be a honeypot for spam bots, but while their list is the first and only hit in google for a lot of them, a few also show up in other places. So it's not a randomly generated list to trick spam bots, unfortunately.

I know it's not. I couldn't remember the address to one of my wife's memberships, so I searched for her screenname + "Yahoo". The full e-mail address is in that list.

Quite a few from @mycompany ... our spam filters work pretty well though, except that when I do get spam it's never actually addressed to me.

Alas, it has been taken down. What a shame.
