Many U.S. government leaders remain vulnerable to BOOBs

  • :belt_onion:

The Federal Relocation Arc is a network of facilities surrounding Washington, D.C. designed to ensure the survival of non-military components of the United States government in the event Washington is rendered uninhabitable during a war or other serious emergency, such as a nuclear attack.

Mobilization and dispersal of emergency teams to the Federal Relocation Arc may require several hours to complete, so its utility would be susceptible to a "Bolt Out of the Blue" attack (known by the military acronym "BOOB") -- a sudden, nuclear strike against Washington, D.C. by a foreign state that occurred with no warning and was not preceded by any period of rising tension or intelligence indicators.

  • And now we are going to get someone snarking about how Hilarity would be immune to BOOBs, followed by a bunch snarking back about how they weren't so sure of that.

No kidding, a lot of people have suggested - with the logic typical of someone who doesn't know how politicians in general behave behind closed doors - that Bill only got his freak on with other women because Hilary was a rug-munching diesel dyke who only opened her legs for him on their wedding night because her mother wanted a grandkid. Srsly? While this was often a set up for a joke about how that made her a better candidate than Bill, it has also been used as a scourge to whip up homophobic fear against her.

It's even been suggesting the real scandal wasn't Blowjobgate, but that Bill's real goal was to loosen Monica up so he could pimp her out to Hilary. :wtf: ? I swear, some people lose their fucking minds the moment an opposing political figure enters the discussion. It's like, all you need to do to start a slap-fight is mention Dump or Slanders or some other Moron Who Would Be King (or Queen, in CrudeHilarity's case).

Filed Under: Leaving this at that, as I can already see where that discussion leads and am trying to cut back on the online avocados.

It's hardly worth the effort, really. It's almost impossible to find something to say as a joke or burn that hasn't either been said in all sincerity by some brain donor, or isn't overshadowed by actual idiocies committed by the jackass public figures themselves.

Seriously, remember the congressman who was running the committee on child sexual abuse until he was caught trying to pick up 12-year-old boys online (and not as part of a sting operation, either)? Right. No satire can beat that shit.

No. I don't even know what the local clowns are doing half the time, why should I pay attention to the ones on the other side of the planet?

Some of us just want to make silly jokes...

  • @Onyx Yeah, I usually just want to make jokes myself, because, damn this shit gets depressing. However, around here :pendant:s are everywhere, and like Black Flag Pest Spray, :pendant: ry kills jokes dead.

  • @ScholRLEA

    Why all the trouble.

Hillary is an ass, she needs no conspiracy.

Lies because it's a Monday. Check. (quite literally lies when she is to gain nothing)
Is literally rape culture embodied. Check. (shuts up women)
Won't tell us who kept the soldiers from helping in Benghazi. Check (I honestly don't care if it was her, she must at least know who)

Those are the things that we know, for a fact, no investigation needed.

So why people call me sexist for not voting for an accessory to rape... is beyond me.

I'd take Bill Clinton over any of the current Democratic runners, and most, if not all, of the Republicans running. Because there isn't much more he's willing to lie about, and at least he was sensible in office. Ok, maybe.... I'm seriously on the fence about this one. That's how much I don't like Hillary.... or Trump....

    shit...

    @Onyx

    Look Japanese to me.

Traditionally, Japanese is written in a format called tategaki (縦書き?), which is inspired by the traditional Chinese system. In this format, the characters are written in columns going from top to bottom, with columns ordered from right to left. After reaching the bottom of each column, the reader continues at the top of the column to the left of the current one.

Modern Japanese also uses another writing format, called yokogaki (横書き?). This writing format is horizontal and reads from left to right, as in English.

A book printed in tategaki opens with the spine of the book to the right, while a book printed in yokogaki opens with the spine to the left.

  • BINNED

@Zecc Exactly. But this particular one makes more sense to me if read left-to-right, top-to-bottom, hence the confusion.

So threatening the people who accused Bill Clinton of rape isn't rape culture....? But if it's Slick Willie, that's different somehow?

Do you not understand proportions? "shuts up women" is a very wide concept, including many things that are not "rape culture", whatever that even is, except it's not even really a thing, at least in the way SJWs use the term (like the thoroughly ridiculous "1 in 5 college women will be raped" fake statistic).

  • @FrostCat said in Many U.S. government leaders remain vulnerable to BOOBs:

    "shuts up women"

Then I used the wrong phrase.... sorry.

Point being, Hillary threatened women, kept them quiet about rape, and this is somehow ironic that feminists want to vote for her.

I guess rape culture is ok if it's a woman in charge of it.

People are sloppy about language. Usually it's a not a problem. In this case, it's important to be clear, since so many people are deliberately or ignorantly wrong, they're actually undermining their own efforts.

  • @xaade Annnnnnnnnd, here we have a perfect example of what I said earlier about people turning their brains off the moment The Opposite is mentioned.

  • To expand on this, the whole point of my post was to try and head off this sort of shit by shaming those who do it into realizing that they were being irrational dittoheads with no idea of what they were talking about. Thanks to all of you for showing me once again that there is nothing in this world more powerful than stupidity.

This has nothing to do with the Clintons, or Trump, or any of those fools, and everything to do with people not stopping to think before they post. I only mentioned Hilarity because she was the obvious target of the obvious lesbian joke I was sure someone was readying when I posted my reply; it could just have easily have been Bachmann or Palin, were they in the race, because every brain-dead moron has to assume that any woman in politics - especially one on the opposing side - has to be a massive bulldyke so overcome by raging penis envy and a love of the vaj that they went into politics to prove that they are more manly than the Marlboro Man. Aside from how absurd this is to anyone who knows actual lesbians - just as there are more furniture movers and bodybuilders in the gay community than drag queens (and more stock brokers and school teachers than either of those), there are probably twenty en femme lesbians for every soft-butch, who in turn outnumber hard-butches by about the same margin - it shows just how fucking insecure some people get about anyone who doesn't fit their expectations.

Try to have a sense of humor. Nobody on the forum really cares that much about politics unless there is a good joke it in somewhere.

  • @DogsB Liberal? You forget who you're talking to. My position on politics is simple: it's bullshit. It's always bullshit, never anything but bullshit, and it has no real importance for anyone but alpha types. Everything people think of as politics are things that would have happened anyway - and yes, that includes wars and pogroms and all other kinds of atrocities, the politics may be used to justify it but it doesn't cause it.

We live on the Planet of the Apes, and are all trapped in Black Iron Prison - the jail every person in history has created for themselves. I'm at least trying to see the bars, even If haven't managed to yet fnord.

In any case, I was describing what too many people - regardless of their putative political affiliation - say, not expressing it myself.
