Why, NodeBB, why?

@FrostCat oh so that happened to you too?
i thought it was something with my desktop being at 99.9% memory usage with pagefile disabled
-
@FrostCat usually that's because the page took an unusually long time to load and/or was interrupted while loading.
@accalia it probably was, in your case.
-
It happens several times a day here
-
@anotherusername It looks like "what.thedailywtf.com" loaded HTTP, and the login link as well. I clicked something in the title bar--probably "what the daily wtf?", and the page went HTTPS and then the login page loaded OK. It wasn't a timeout thing unless the timeout was only a few seconds.
-
@FrostCat Are you saying that the error only appeared for a few seconds and then the login page loaded okay? It might've interrupted the current page loading when you clicked the thing. And then the thing loaded, and replaced the error.
-
@anotherusername No, I typed "what.thedailywtf.com" into the address bar, and a couple seconds later, hit the login button, and immediately got the "something went wrong." Then I did something else--probably clicked the site name but I'm not positive--and the login page loaded. I believe at that point I saw the address bar add the https: prefix.

I couldn't get the main site to load at all earlier. Gave up and entered the forum address in manually. Took 3 tries to get the login screen to work. [shrug] At this point, I just keep trying from different angles until I get it to work. I feel like I am debugging software at work though, starting to have an itch to file bug reports o_O

@FrostCat does your browser not support HSTS?

I don't know what that is, but it happened in Chrome as well as Edge.

I gotta say, from his screenshot, it looks like a horrible thing tossed together without worrying about what it looks like, so it's probably not surprising if other things don't work well. What the hell ugly browser is that, anyways?

@boomzilla Looks like Edge.

Happens to me often, when i click Login or the logo to see all topics. Page refresh resolves the problem.
