Localisation/edit settings problem

Not sure what's to blame here, so I'll just present the situation/symptoms.
Working:
Set Profile > Settings > Language to en_gb
Go to Profile > Edit > Change Picture > Upload new picture
File dialog appears.Not working:
Set Profile > Settings > Language to en@Pirate
Go to Profile > Edit > Change Picture > Upload new picture
Change picture dialog disappears.Not tested other languages or noticed any other breakage with en@Pirate.
FF45.0, Linux.

No, I don't think you did that. Is that image you posted a GIF? If so, I have animations turned off.

@NedFodder That fix has been applied for most of today. The latest restart was for to be accessible by typing
:magicand to fix the intermittent emoji-missing problem.

Hello all.... I'm brand new to the site but I too seem to be having a similar problem. I know my image is a .bmp and it's under 512 kb but it still won't load. Any ideas on what this could be or how to get around it?
