    Well, I actually meant something along the lines of "Yeah, he's doing your mom", but that works too.

    Maybe, but also a historical day of fire and destruction. The forum will run red with blood. Those of us who survive will live in a magical utopia with proper quoting, correct spelling, and a complete lack of needlessly resurrected threads. Oh, to live in such a world!

  • @bstorer said:

    Those of us who survive will live in a magical utopia with proper quoting, correct spelling, and a complete lack of needlessly resurrected threads. Oh, to live in such a world!

    But will be getting flamed by MPS all the time... and the only proper answer would be "Yes, Master, you are right, I am indeed a cocksucker and deeply apologise for having opened this thread. Blame my mother, she is a cunt!"

  • No!

    I am stunned I really am. I would have thought that at least somebody would be only too keen to summarize the thread for me, though if somebody didn't have the time to comment it would be exusable I guess. It is an extremely long thread and I keep seeing it in the topics list, so it would be in the benefit of the community in general that the thread is summarized to enable me to type more coherent replies to the thread. Otherwise the thread would die and nobody wants that.

    To everybody who responded negatively out of envy that I had the initiative to make such a common sense down to earth request, I am shocked and a little saddened that people would ever stoop to conducting themselves so poorly, especially on the internet. I hope you think about what you've done, and in the future remember this and try harder!

  • @jimo_hh said:

    Definitely not.

    @jimo_hh said:

    to enable me to type more coherent replies to the thread.

    It is not possible to write coherent replies to this one. Many have tried (including me), I'ld even guess everyone responding to SpectateSwamps post has at least once tried to honestly talk to him and establish some sort of conversation. Some have tried more than once. But everyone has failed. Thus, SpectateSwamp threads morphed into "flame the swampthing" threads, and he himself didn't even care, or notice.

    @jimo_hh said:

    Otherwise the thread would die and nobody wants that.

    Wrong again, everybody wants this thread to die.

    @jimo_hh said:

    To everybody who responded negatively out of envy that I had the initiative to make such a common sense down to earth request,

    Sorry, common sense doesn't count in this tread. No wait, it doesn't even exist. If there had been sort of common sense in this thread, it would have been locked after the very first posting.

    The thread would make little sense if you have not read the original SSDS thread (well, even less than it makes anyway), and owing to the rambling nature of the thread, it would be difficult indeed for anyone to summarise all 2160 post in this thread for the benefit of a newbie.

     This thread is not in imminent danger of dying just because a new member isn't going to post in it. It will die when AmmoQ says so, or Swampy starts a new thread, and not before.

    Well, he did know an internet acronym I'd never heard of before.

    Maybe he's another incarnation of Swampy. And keeps this thread running using a complete opposite strategy than Swampy did: He'll argue Swampy (himself) under the table and it will finally admit that it and its software had been so wrong. Maybe it'll even admit that there are no alien nor "shamen". And then we will celebrate jimo_hh (=Swampy) as the rescuer of the sanity of this forums.

    Maybe this was Swampys plan right from the start! Causing chaos and then solving it again. That would make his 2012 prophecy glow in a different light.

    Or jimo_hh is just new to the internet =D

    Personally, I find it rather odd you'd want us to "plz send u teh summeries" so you can make "coherent replies" - seriously, what makes you think you can add something useful to a conversation by reading the cliff notes?  Reply to something of interest, or lurk until you find something interest, or just move along.  Or, you can kill your workday and dig through the posts.

    If you seriously want a summary, the best you are going to get is http://www.thestupidestmanonearth.com

    Oh my. I hope the Whit....*ahem* Hooded Crow is smart enough to find you. Or did you hit it with a shovel, stuff it into a box, and take it along?

    I'll have to warn my sister that B.C. isn't safe to live in anymore, what with all the cloaked alien motherships and tobacco leaf flyers that are about to descend on the place. I hope the Olympics don't get cursed either. I think your last curse on them missed and flattened the wrong part of China.

    On the plus side, B.C. is essentially one giant rock, and there's been lots of holes drilled through them (us common mortals call them tunnels), so you're in holey stone heaven.

    Well, British Columbia is kinda the Florida of Canada, in terms of the greyhair population. Perhaps Swampy's retiring and went to join his fellow greybeards and now he'll start seeing cloaked motherships on the shuffleboard court and in his Geritol bottles.

    That or more likely his trailer was foreclosed because he was blowing all his money on mini-dv tapes and new modems for his PC.

    You are right that I am incapable of running for office. The only promise I made the people of Yellowhead was that I would never run again for anything. That was my first and last shot at anything political. I keep my promises. I am looking for new YellowHeads that I can support. They can run where ever they like. One term limit and honesty are the only requirements.

    Folks, it has been proven: You can't find the goddamn reply button in Discussion2. In old days, we had a giant reply button in the top of the page, but in D2, it's suddenly a tiny "reply" link in the float and a bigger button in the bottom of the page (which no one reads, because it's just filled with low-moderated comments). So instead of posting a top-level comment, Spectate decided to reply to a random high-moderated post, unleashing the hell and fury that is SSDS on an unsuspecting victim. If that guy's karma sinks - unlikely as it may sound - you know who to blame.

    The only promise I made the people of Yellowhead was that I would never run again for anything.

    A politician? Keeping promises? Whahuh? What planet is this again?

    Now living in southern British Columbia. 11 hrs drive from Whitecourt. The radio signal to my computer is weak. But don't worry Swampies when I get my new camcorder this weekend. I'll move closer to the router when uploading the latest screen reshoots. It will be harder to capture Aliens on video here. There are way less clouds. I'm pretty sure they will show up.

    Swampy. Swampy. Swampy. You just don't get it. You can run but you cannot hide. Jack Bauer will get you. It will take him 24 hours come January. His stones are migthier than yours - your end is nigh.

    It would be a public service if he silently removed himself from the gene pool and took all his posts descendants with him.

    There. Fixed that for you. Much better.

    Sippenhaft ? Don't kill the kids - it is not their fault that their progenitor is loco.

    I can position a stone under a steady drop of water and acheive the same affect. Doesn't make it any more magical

    Yesterday I made a sandwich and one of the pieces of bread had a big hole in it. Also, one of the pickle chips had *2* holes in it. Therefore I must be at least 2x the shaman Swampie is, because the stuff I find has more holes. I should've put the sandwich on my wooden table, taken some photos of it, then screened the photos on an LCD and taken wonky off-axis video of it, mangled it through a half dozen transcoding runs, then uploaded it to ebay along with 200 pages of rambling incoherent line noise for sale for $9,999,999,999,999.99 - a reasonable bargain, given the hol(e)y food's awesome powers.

    But I was hungry, so I just ate it instead.

     Freeze-dry it. Then post it starting at a buck at e-bay with a lot of drivel. You would be surprised how much you get. Stupidity never dies. I estimate that you get 100$ for the chip and 20$ for the bread.

     2200th !!! (sorry - can't help myself).
