Ironically the most common problem with Markdown is that you can't break quotes even if you want to.

It's a stylesheet issue, because there's two separate
<p>
tags there in both the preview and the finished post:<blockquote> <p>test</p> <p>of that</p> </blockquote>
but there's a style rule that specifies
.composer .preview blockquote p { margin-bottom: 0; }

@julianlam I see this in our custom CSS:
/* post content */ .topic .posts .content, .composer .preview { ... blockquote > blockquote:last-child, blockquote > p:last-child { margin-bottom: 0; }
That's the only appearance of
margin-bottom
that I can see.

@julianlam I fixed it in our CSS just now, but the margin-bottom is from stylesheet.css, which the custom CSS isn't put into.
